A merchant that is on a TMF list can find it almost impossible to get a merchant account. There are a variety of reasons a merchant may be placed on the “terminated merchant file”, most commonly it is due to an excessive amount of chargebacks or large unpaid chargebacks.
Unfortunately some merchants may have had a previous business that closed down, that was placed on the TMF list. eMerchantBroker.com can help you get a merchant account. We approve merchants on a TMF list, as long as there is no outstanding balance owed to any processors.
